TCS on Friday unveiled plans to bring workers back to offices with 70% of its employees fully vaccinated and more than 95% receiving at least one injection.
We plan to gradually bring our workforce back to power by the end of this year, said Milind Lakkad, director of human resources at TCS.
The computer science major added 19,690 employees on a net basis in the second quarter, bringing the total employee base to 528,748 as of September 30. In the past six months, the company has hired a record 43,000 new graduates.
High-level employees with full immunization status are already welcome to come to the office, company management said at a press conference.

The CHT attrition rate in the September quarter was 11.9%, the lowest in the industry.
TCS recorded a 29% increase in its consolidated net income to ??9,624 crore in the September quarter, while revenue increased 17%.
On Friday, TCS script gained nearly 1.1% to settle at ??3,935 on NSE.
