Business office wins top innovation team award

CLEVELAND – The College Athletic Business Management Association (CABMA) recently announced its 2022 honorees at its convention, and the UNT Business Office received the top Innovation Team Award.

The Commercial Operations Department, headed by Executive Senior Associate Athletic Director and Chief Financial Officer spiritual mattalso includes Assistant Athletic Directors, Business Operations Pilar Bradfield and Ryan Enseleinas well as the Director, Commercial Operations Greenlee Savannah.

“We would like to thank the CABMA Awards Committee for recognizing the hard work of our business office team in the many process improvements we have recently implemented,” said Witty. “It is a tremendous honor to receive the inaugural Team Innovation Award. We look forward to building on this foundation and continuing to serve the amazing student-athletes and staff here at UNT.”

The award was designed to be given to the CABMA member institution that promotes innovative business practices for its student-athletes, coaches, athletics and/or university administration. Practices to consider include, but are not limited to, process improvements, cost savings, and revenue generating ideas.
